Starting your new job within 30 days.

How am I insured?
Insured people working at least 8 hours a week are insured against nonprofessional accidents until the expiry of the 30^th day following the expiry of their right to regular payment of at least 50% of usual wages.

Part-time workers (less than 8 hours a week) are insured against accidents or diseases at work only, and against accidents occurring on the way to and back from work. This insurance cover expires with the end of the job contract.  

What do I have to do?
As soon as you start your new professional activity, you are automatically insured against any accident by your employer’s LAA insurance company. 

Working less than eight hours a week, you should either keep to your private insurance, or sign up for a new one.
